The Sentiment page is a focused view of one thing: every AI mention of your brand that scored below 50 on the sentiment scale. Where Sentiment as a metric tells you the number, this page is where you go to read the actual mentions behind a low score.

The negative mentions view

Four summary cards give you the headline picture: total negative mentions, average negative score, your single worst score, and how many distinct prompts are affected. Below that, negative mentions are grouped by prompt and sorted worst-score-first, so the mention that needs the most attention is always at the top rather than buried in a chronological list. Filter by severity — Critical (below 20), Poor (20–39), or Fair (40–49) — or by platform, to narrow the list to a specific band or a specific AI assistant. Both filters combine, so you can look at, say, only Critical mentions on Claude.
This page only ever shows mentions below 50. A brand with no negative mentions sees a clean “No negative mentions” state rather than an empty table — that’s a genuinely good result, not a loading or error state.

Reading a negative mention

Expand a prompt to see each individual negative run — the platform, the severity band, the exact score, and the date. Expand a run further to read the AI’s full response, with the option to copy it. This is the point of the page: a sentiment score on its own tells you that something scored badly, but reading the actual text tells you why — whether it’s an outdated fact, a fair but critical comparison, an isolated tone issue, or something structural worth addressing. Reading the response in context also helps you judge whether a low score reflects something you should act on or something that doesn’t matter much. Not every negative mention is equally worth chasing — a mildly lukewarm comparison in a “best of” list reads very differently from an answer that actively steers a buyer towards a competitor.

Email alerts for new negative mentions

For your own brands, you can opt in to an email alert whenever a new negative-sentiment mention appears, so you don’t have to keep checking back manually. The toggle sits at the top of the page next to your brand name.
This alert is only available for brands marked as your own — it isn’t offered for tracked competitors, since there’s nothing actionable for you to do about a competitor’s negative sentiment. New own-brand notification preferences default to on; you can turn the alert off for any brand individually at any time.
